FLOOR
AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Modifies the Dental
Insurance Transparency Study Committee (Study Committee) membership to include:
a) a person who serves on
the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners; and
b)
two
members, rather than one member, who are licensed to provide dental services
directly to patients and whose primary business location is in Maricopa or Pima
county.
2. Adds a Senate member to
the Study Committee and specifies that not more than two may be of the same
political party.
3. Directs the President
of the Senate, rather than the Speaker of the House of Representatives, to
appoint certain Study Committee members.
4. Removes various Study
Committee members.
